Welcome to Hilldale
The Hilldale Community Association (HCA) was founded in 2003 to promote community spirit and to bring the people of Hilldale together.
The HCA is an entirely volunteer led and run charity. Every adult resident in Hilldale is automatically a member of the HCA - there is no membership fee.
Hilldale is a rural parish and community in West Lancashire, UK which has about 300 homes, a pub, several business and farms.
Next HCA Meetings
The next HCA meeting will be held upstairs at The Rigbye Arms on Thursday 26 February 2026 from 7-8pm. Any Hilldale residents are welcome to join us. The attendees on the night make decisions. Drop us a line to hello@hilldale-ca.org for the agenda if you have not already got it through our email group. HCAfe Pop Up Cafes on the last Saturday 10.30-noon of January, Februrary, March, April, June, July, September, October, November.

Hilldale community litter picks - linked to HCAfe dates on the last Saturday of January, April, September and November from 10am. Free drink and cake for pickers.

Hilldale Fair and Fun Dog Show from noon on Satruday 9 May 2026.

Santa Sleigh - Santa and his Elves will be calling at Hilldale Village Hall on Wednesday 16 December 2026 between 4.30-4.50pm
Dog Poo
It's up to dog owners to pick up after their own dog and if anyone observes fouling taking place they should report it to West Lancashire Borough Council.

Yes, we have meetings - we couldn't organise "things" without them - but they are informal and we try to keep them no longer than one hour.
