Out & about in Hilldale

The Parish of Hilldale is perched on the edge of the Lancashire Plain and, together with neighbouring Bispham, offers residents and visitors footpaths, the Leeds Liverpool canal, parks and pubs.

FOOTPATHS

PARKS
Hunter's Hill was formerly a quarry.  Part of it has been transformed by West Lancs District Council to make the most of its beautiful woodlands, shrubs and rock faces by creating footpaths, wheelchair access, seating and picnic areas as well as scenic view points.
Visitors can wander through the woodland, discover the hidden wildlife, take in the extraordinary views of the Lancashire Plain and out to coastline or just go for a picnic.

You will be able to find the Hunters Hill Country park on the Footpath map but here is a section of the map with its location marked.
