Projects
One of the HCA's objectives is to "promote the benefit of people resident in Hilldale". One of the ways in which we try to meet this goal is to help improve amenities.
The committee does not have a monopoly of ideas for improvements!
If you have an idea, then there are several ways you can use to tell us what you'd like us to try to do:

In 2020 we:
Helped with the cost of repairing the play equipment in the Playing Field
Replaced the dishwasher in the Hall kitchen.
In 2021 we:
Replaced the microwave and toaster in the kitchen. The cost of replacing these items was helped by a grant from the Eric Wright Foundation.
In 2022 we:
- Bought a bain marie to improve the kitchen facilities. For example, it will be used at Coffee Mornings to keep food warm so that we can speed up delivery of hot food and, potentially, offer full breakfasts.
- Bought double sided curtains, rail and installation which have been installed at the end of the Hall. The curtains are intended to improve the Hall accoustics, provide a backdrop for bands or theatre. To date users of the Hall have reported that the curtains are a great asset.
